Brief easy to follow list
To help us prepare the cabin for incoming guests and keep everything running smoothly, please complete the following before departure.
1. Checkout Time
Check-out time is 10 AM ET. Late check-outs that have not been pre-arranged with the Owners in advance may result in a deduction from the deposit.
2. Wash Dishes
Dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils should be washed and put away in the cabinets - OR - placed in the dishwasher, and the cycle started.
3. Empty Refrigerator
Empty the refrigerator. Dispose of perishable leftovers that you are not taking with you. Non-perishables that you do not need can be left behind for our cleaners, who will appreciate them.
4. Leave Beds Unmade
Leave the beds unmade, with sheets and pillowcases left on. This allows housekeeping to verify all linens are present before washing. Please do not remove bed linens. Place all used bath towels in the bathtub or shower on that floor.
5. Remove Trash & Litter
Remove and dispose of any litter or trash inside the cabin.
6. Secure Trash in Bear-Proof Container
Place all BAGGED trash in the outdoor bear-proof container and secure the lock. If waste does not fit, leave tied garbage bags inside.
7. Hot Tub
Set the hot tub temperature to 85°F. Ensure the hot tub is covered and the cover is fastened securely.
8. Thermostat Settings
Set ALL thermostats (upstairs and downstairs) to 60°F during cooler months and 75°F during warmer months (HEAT to 60°F and COOL to 75°F).
Note: Ridge View Lodge has 3 thermostats.
9. Lock Doors & Windows
Lock all doors and windows. After exiting the front door, pull the door tight, press the "SCHLAGE" button on the keyless lock, rotate the knob to lock, and verify the door is secure.
10. Text Checkout Confirmation
Upon checkout, text the following to (828) 554-2800:
